Plot of Hum Paanch TV Show

Hum Paanch is a Hindi TV show about an Indian middle-class family. The father, whose name is Anand Mathur, sells medicines for a company. After his first wife dies, he marries Binadevi Anandkumar Janardhan Prasad Mathur, whom he calls Bina. Anand's three daughters make fun of Bina at first for her boisterous nature, they soon become a closely knit family after BIna gives birth to two more daughters.

Meenakshi, the eldest daughter, is a feminist who always speaks out against the unequal treatment of women in society. Radhika, the second daughter, is smart and a nerd. She cannot see or hear well and wears glasses and hearing aids. Sweety is the name of the third girl. She wanted to be a model as she is pretty, but not very smart, and she wants to marry Bollywood star, Shahrukh Khan. The fourth girl is Kajal, a tomboy and very rough with everyone. Chhoti, the youngest girl in the family, loves to stir up trouble and talk about other people.

In every episode, the five sisters get together to plan something mischievous. They try many plans, like robbing a bank, starting a beauty salon, and kidnapping someone. Bina loves all her children very much and is always there for them.
