After Amrutham's boss, Ambhujanabham, fires him from his job as an assistant manager at Bow Bow Biscuits, they decide to open a restaurant called Amrutha Vilas. Sarvam is from Tamil Nadu, but he moved to Amrutha Vilas to work as a waiter. Appaji, the landlord of Amrutha Vila's plot and Amrutham and Anji's houses, is a miser who punishes his tenants unfairly. The comedy TV show focuses on the funny results of Anji's eccentric money-making schemes.
