12,514 Fresh COVID-19 Cases In India, 2.4% Lower Than Yesterday
New Delhi : India’s daily Covid graph showed improvement today as the country logged 12,514 fresh cases, which is 2.4% lower than yesterday. During the same period, 251 related fatalities were recorded.
At least 12,718 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who have recovered is 3,36,68,560.
Active cases account for 0.46 per cent of total cases, the lowest since March 2020. The active caseload stands at 1,58,817, which is the lowest in 248 days.

The weekly positivity rate of 1.17% per cent is less than two per cent for last 38 days. Daily positivity rate of 1.42 per cent is less than two per cent for the last 28 days.
The Delhi government has directed state-run hospitals to use one-third of the COVID-19 beds for treatment of dengue, malaria and chikungunya patients in the capital, Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on Sunday.
The decision has been taken in the view of declining cases of coronavirus and the rise in the cases of dengue, malaria, and chikungunya in Delhi, a statement quoted Mr Jain as saying.
Assam on Sunday reported 212 fresh COVID-19 cases, 71 less than the previous day, with the caseload in the northeastern state rising to 6,10,645, a National Health Mission (NHM) bulletin said.
The death count rose to 5,997 as one more person from Nagaon succumbed to the disease, it said.
Punjab on Sunday reported 26 fresh COVID-19 cases, which took the infection tally to 6,02,401 in the state, according to a medical bulletin.
With one Covid-related death reported from Hoshiarpur, the count reached 16,559, it said.
Haryana’s Covid tally rose to 7,71,252 with 11 new cases on Sunday, while the death count remained at 10,049 as no new fatality was reported, according to a medical bulletin.
Of the fresh cases, seven infections were reported from Gurgaon, among others.
