14 years of 26/11 attacks: Bollywood celebrities say “never forget” expressing solidarity against terrorism

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 26 (ANI): Memories of the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai still hurt Indian citizens.
On the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the incident, several Bollywood actors expressed solidarity against terrorism.
Taking to social media, they made posts in remembrance of the event.

“bhuulnaa nhiiN…. Never forget….” wrote ‘Uunchai’ actor Anupam Kher on his Twitter.
He accompanied the tweet with a black-and-white poster featuring the Taj Hotel.
“26/11 A TRIBUTE TO OUR HEROES” the poster read.

Actor Raveena Tandon also made a tweet on the occasion.
“Never Forgive. Never Forget . #26/11” she wrote.
She paired the tweet with a poster which featured an image of a burning Taj Hotel shaped like the letter ‘M’.
The poster bore the text, “Remembering Mumbai 26/11”

“Paa” actor Abhishek Bachchan also made a short and simple tweet which read, “Never forget. 26/11”.
National Award-winning film director Madhur Bhandarkar paid tribute to the victims and martyrs of the terror attack.

The “Page 3” director wrote, “Remembering all those innocent victims and brave martyrs who lost their lives in the 26/11 terror attack in #Mumbai”.
His tweet included a poster of the Taj Hotel in flames and smoke, with the text, “Remembering the heroes of the nation who fought hard and sacrificed their lives in Mumbai Terror 26/11 Attacks”.

Meanwhile, “Thalaivii” actress Kangana Ranaut shared her tribute through Instagram stories.
In a 50-second video, the three-time Filmfare Awardee said, “…the whole world is now standing against those who breed and promote terrorism…”.
“…..let’s remember the Mumbai attacks and give out a strong message, ‘we won’t forget, we won’t forgive”. Jai Hind”. The “Queen” actor added.
The ghastly attacks, which began on November 26, 2008, lasted for four days and at least 174 people, including 20 security force personnel and 26 foreign nationals, were killed and more than 300 others injured in the terror attacks carried out by 10 gunmen from Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.
