India eases quarantine rules for international travellers from Monday

Starting Monday, fully vaccinated travellers from a country which has reciprocal arrangements with India for mutual acceptance of World Health Organisation approved Covid-19 vaccines will be allowed to leave the airport without a test. They will also not be required to undergo home quarantine. They will, however, have to produce a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR report.
In case the traveller is partly-vaccinated or not vaccinated, they will have undergo a test post arrival and will be required to home quarantine for 7 days.
They will again have to take a Covid-19 test on the eighth and continue to monitor themselves for next 7 days if the report is negative.
According to the guidelines, all travellers should submit a self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal before the travel and upload a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR report. This test should have been conducted within 72 hours before the flight
