Osama
Siddiq Barmak’s tragic film from Afghanistan, which depicts the tale from the Afghan point of view. The film portrays a preteen girl living in Afghanistan under the Taliban dictatorship who, to help her family, disguises herself as a boy named Osama.

Dilawar, an Afghan peanut farmer gave up farming to become a taxi driver. Later, he died at the Bagram detention center after several days of beatings. It is likewise the subject of the Oscar-winning documentary.

Armadillo
The Danish documentary ‘Armadillo’ likewise created waves at various important award ceremonies in 2010, including the Cannes Film Festival. The film, directed by Janus Metz, is all about Danish soldiers fighting in Afghanistan.
