AMC MET college comes under the former assembly constituency of then Chief Minister Narendrabhai Modi

New Delhi: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will name its AMC MET Medical College as Narendra Modi Medical College. A proposal appealing to do so was put in front of the standing committee during AMC’s committee meet. Earlier this year Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cricket Stadium was renamed Narendra Modi Stadium.

AMC MET college comes under the former assembly constituency of then Chief Minister Narendrabhai Modi. The medical presently caters Post Graduate (PG) courses The college has 170 seats.

On September 14, the executive committee meeting of AMC MET was held. In this meeting, the decision was taken to rename the college from AMC MET medical college to Narendra Modi medical college. Today this proposal was approved by the standing committee of AMC.

Another call taken in the meeting was, that the Municipal Commissioner will visit New Orleans in the Louisiana state of America during 8-12 October this year. He will participate in WEFTEC 2022-95th Annual Technical Exhibition & Conference organized by Pioneer Exhibition and Conventions Management Pvt Ltd. The expenses will be borne by AMC and he will be considered on duty.
