Approval accorded to proposed alignment of Integrated Transit Corridor Development in south Delhi
New Delhi Apr 26 PTI Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Tuesday accorded an in-principal approval to proposed alignment of Integrated Transit Corridor Development and Street Network Connectivity Plan around Chattarpur Road in south Delhi in the 65th governing body meeting of UTTIPEC officials said Baijal chaired the 65th governing body meeting of Unified Traffic and Transportation Infrastructure Planning and Engineering Centre UTTIPEC which was also attended by DDA vice chairperson and other officials from departments concerned After detailed deliberations in-principle approval was accorded to the proposed alignment of Integrated Transit Corridor Development and Street NetworkConnectivity Plan for approach roads from Chattarpur Road The proposed project will facilitate improved access to SAARC University and other institutions in the area Baijal tweeted after the meeting He also reviewed the status of implementation of Multi Modal Integration MMI plans of metro stations and directed officials for pro-active and coordinated action for timely completion of projects to remove congestion and facilitate mobility of citizens MMI Plans were approved for metro station of Inderlok Chandni Chowk and Lakshmi Nagar Walkability Plans were also approved for Inderlok Metro Station Area Old Delhi Railway Station Lakshmi Nagar Nehru Place Bhikaji Cama Place and Saket-Malviya Nagar Baijal said in a series of tweets PTI AKM AKM AQS AQS
