Delhi: In the Shraddha murder case as per the the bones recovered from the Mehrauli jungle are Shraddha’s. According to the reports produced by the forensic laboratory, the DNA of the bones matched Shradhha’s father, Vikash Walker.
Aftab Poonawala, 28, was in a live-in relationship with Shraddha Walker, and resided in south Delhi, ended up chopping her into 30 pieces before dumping her body parts in various locations of Delhi.
Soon after, the case was reported, the police caught hold of the suspect Aftab Poonawala, after which he was lodged under custody in Tihar jail.

Parallel to the search for Shraddha’s body parts, the judicial custody of Aftab had been extended. After a thorough search by Delhi police, Shraddha’s scattered body parts were recovered at different locations. Mehrauli jungle is where the police had recovered some bones, that further were sent across for further investigation.
According to reports, the DNA of the bones recovered from Mehruali jungle have matched the DNA of Shraddha’s father.
