International Narcotics racket busted by Rachkonda police, the SOT Malkajgiri team and Nacharam Police jointly busted International Narcotics peddling Racket and nabbed two drug peddlers and seized about 8.5 Kgs of Pseudoephedrine (A Narcotic Control substance) and other materials all worth Rs. 9 Crores in international market.
It was smuggling from Chennai to Australia and New Zealand via Hyderabad, through air cargo.
The Pseudoephedrine (Narcotics synthetic Drugs) was as kept concealed in plastic covers, hid in the inner layer of cardboards of cloth boxes, along with the cloths and transporting to Australia and New Zealand.
The Rachkonda CP, Mahesh Bhagwat said, the arrested accused were confessed that so far they have shipped 15 consignments, of approximately 70 kgs Pseudoephedrine to Australia and News Zealand during the year 2022.
