Mumbai: The drama in Maharashtra Politics does not seem to end anytime soon.

After Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari who tested earlier in the day now Maharastra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is said to be tested positive for Covid-19.

Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamalnath who is assigned to be an observer in Maharashtra by the congress high command informed the media about CM Uddhav Thackeray testing covid positive.

However, the Shiv-Sena has not yet commented on the matter.

The news comes ahead of a crucial cabinet meeting. Mr. Thackerey is said to be attending the meeting virtually.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena National Spokesperson Sanjay Raut in a tweet today said “The journey of political developments in Maharashtra towards dismissal of Vidhan Sabha.”

According to India Today, CM Uddhav Thackeray May tender his resignation.
