Delhi’s Air Quality slips to ‘hazardous’ from ‘severe’ as people burst crackers on Diwali

Despite Delhi government’s complete ban on firecrackers, including the green ones, several people were seen bursting crackers, contributing to the degradation of the air quality. The air quality in Delhi was already in the severe category and because of pollution caused by burning of crackers the quality of the air has slipped further down to hazardous category
