Agra: You might have seen many citizens protesting or complaining about potholes and bad road conditions across the nation. Recently, PM Modi inaugurated Purvanchal Expressway, and that bridge just after launch couldn’t bare rain and became a pathway full of potholes. This potholes issue is being faced by people nationwide. Agra citizens have come up with a very unique idea to address the issues of waterlogging and bad road conditions.

The frustrated locals have put up signboards “renaming” their colonies: Narak Puri, Keechad Nagar, Ghinona Nagar, Badboo Vihar, Nala Sarovar, and so on. A localite told ANI that they had complained about road conditions but did not yet receive any help or response from the district administration.

On Sunday, an orange alert was issued by the India Meteorological Department for several areas of Uttar Pradesh. They have also asked the authorities to be vigilant today as well. Firstpost reported that the schools in the districts of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Aligarh, Agra, Etah, Mainpuri, Firozabad, and Kanpur, all schools are closed today.
