Farmer unions in Haryana have claimed that the police has filed three cases against protesters who were hit by a convoy carrying a BJP MP on Thursday.

Farmers protesting the central farm laws in Naraingarh near Ambala on Thursday alleged that one person was injured after being hit by a car which was part of the convoy of BJP MP Nayab Singh Saini.

They claimed that while police have filed 3 cases against them, no FIR has been registered based on their complaint against the BJP leader.

Farmers had gathered in Ambala’s grain market to protest but called it off after police assured them of a fair probe.
