Tamil Nadu’s Nagapattinam MP of the Communist Party of India, M Selvarasu questioned the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting that how much money was spent by each ministry for advertisements in print and electronic media since 2014.

Besides she also questioned that how much money was spent for advertisements in foreign media. Answering this in the Lok Sabha, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur revealed how much the government has spent on advertisements since 2014.
