Machine Gun Kelly explains the idea behind Megan Fox’s engagement ring 

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox astonished fans when they announced their engagement on January 13, 2022. MGK took to Instagram just hours after uploading a video of the romantic proposal to unveil the reason behind his custom-made engagement ring for Megan Fox. Machine Gun Kelly talked up about the diamond and emerald engagement ring in their first interview since the engagement, describing the philosophy behind it.

Kelly, 31, pointed out that the “bands” on his new fiancée’s handmade two-stone ring are actually thorns. “So if she tries to take it off, it hurts,” added the “Bloody Valentine” musician, quipping, “Love is pain!” “The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet. So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns,” Machine Gun Kelly explained.

Kelly shared an up-close video of the remarkable emerald and diamond sparkler he had custom-made by Webster. Especially for the occasion alongside his engagement announcement last week. The pear-cut stones sparkle in the video as the Transformers actress, 35, moves her hand. The Born with Horns artist disclosed his design choice in the caption of his Instagram image.”I know the tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love,” he wrote. Gun-machine Kelly and Megan Fox got engaged under the same banyan tree where they met and fell in love.
