Earlier, Rajat Patidar’s remarkable 122 and Saransh Jain’s 57 powered Madhya Pradesh to seize a crucial 162-run lead in the first-innings lead which was the stepping stone of the historic victory.
Himanshu Mantri, Shubham Sharma, Kumar Kartikey, and others who displayed stunning performances throughout the tournament would surely be expecting to be drafted into the IPL’s Pool of players or be contacted by franchises, which will help them make way for them to play in blue.
The Madhya Pradesh team will receive the prestigious trophy and prize money of Rs 2 crore from the BCCI.
Shubham Sharma (MP) will bag the Player of the Match award and Sarfraz Khan will take home the Player of the tournament
Sarfaraz Khan was just 18 runs shy of a 4-figure stat in the tournament(982) in just 9 games. His top score is just 25 runs short of 300 (275) with an average of 122.75 and a Strike Rate of 69.54.
