Ever since the news of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s break for ODI and Test series respectively have come forth, eyebrows have been raised about the fans are feeling that there is a rift between the two stalwarts. Virat Kohli is all set to be absent for the ODI series whereas, Rohit will not be available for the Test series against South Africa. The former Indian captain questioned the timing of the break and expressed his views. He took to social media and wrote that there could be better timing to take a break. ” There is no harm in takin a break but d timing has to be better. This just substantiates speculation abt d rift. Neither wil be giving up d other form of cricket,” read a part of the tweet. The fans have also been talking about the alleged rift.

Rohit Sharma will be unavailable for the Test match due to a hamstring injury whereas, Virat Kohli will reportedly remain absent from the three-match ODI for personal reasons.
