The Genshin Impact 2.0 update is finally here. The makers have announced new maps and plenty of exciting additions to the game. In this article, we take a look at the new features of the Genshin Impact 2.0 update.
New map of Inazuma
The July 21 release gave us the much-awaited Inazuma. The newest addition to the map is a city-state that worships Baal, the Electro Archon. But, access to Inazuma is available after reaching the Adventure Rank 30. And completing the Archon Quest Chapter II: Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia. The entire region will not be available for players to explore but there will be three islands to explore. Narukami Island, Kannazuka, and Yashiori Island.
New characters in the Genshin Impact 2.0 update
Ayaka
Ayaka is the five-star Cryo swords-wielder. She is the daughter of the Kamisato Clan. It is one of the commissions that oversee Inazuma’s governance. Ayaka’s banner is live now. In the game, she’ll be accompanied by characters like Ningguang, Chongyun, and Yanfei.
Yoimiya
Yoimiya is also a five-star Pyro archer. She is the owner of Naganohara Fireworks and is also Inazuma’s most skilled Pyrotechnician. Yoimiya’s banner, Tapestry of Golden Flames, will arrive in the game after Ayaka, by Aug 10.
Sayu
Sayu, a small character is a four-star Anemo ninja. This character will feature as part of Yoimiya’s banner.
New weapons in Genshin Impact 2.0 update
The new update will bring “Epitomized Path.” In this players can take a weapon, and get Fate Points if they get a five-star weapon. It will make it easier for the players to get new five-star weapons. All these fate points will reset after the event period is over.

Cross progression for PlayStation users
The Genshin Impact 2.0 update, has solved the problem of cross-progression and cross-saving for PlayStation users. Likewise, players have to link their PSN to the correct email address. And then log in on any platform they wish to play on with their miHoYo account.
