Ever since the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave an all okay to the Pfizer-BioNTech shot, employers are looking for vaccinated employees. LinkedIn has seen a ‘dramatic spike’ in job ads requiring immunization. A spokesperson for LinkedIn stated that data indicated how “businesses were waiting” for FDA approval. It was crucial before imposing a vaccine mandate at workplaces. However, despite LinkedIn not providing the specific data, jobs with the most vaccine requirements were in jobs with high people contact. Food production, legal, marketing or advertising, biotechnology, and IT services. Additionally, the report revealed that New York City, San Fransisco, Boston, Washington D.C., and Fayetteville have the most number of jobs that had mandatory vaccines.
