The Oscars’ nominations for 2022 have been released, reminding us of all the peppy films from the previous year that we haven’t had the chance to see yet. There’s no need to panic; you still have time to see the ones you missed before the Academy Awards are revealed on March 27.
The Steven Spielberg-directed musical West Side Story and Guillermo Del Toro’s psychological thriller Nightmare Alley are among the ten films competing for best picture. Several of them may be available on streaming services for which you already have a subscription.
The Power of the Dog, with 12 nominations, Dune, with ten, and West Side Story, with seven, lead the pack of nominees this year.
