SRINAGAR Aug 22 Over 250 patients and 360 animals were treated at a medical and veterinary camp organised under operation Sadbhavana at Diskit by the Siachen Brigade in the Ladakh region a Defence Ministry spokesman said todayCol Emron Musavi said under the aegis of Fire and Fury Corps medical and the veterinary camp was organized to provide basic medical assistance to residents of remote villages of Nubra valley in Union Territory UT of Ladakh regionHe said the camp witnessed a large response from locals who had come from far-flung villagesCol Musavi said over 250 patients and 360 animals were screened diagnosed and provided suitable medical treatmentIn addition to medical treatment the villagers were also educated on health-related issues hygiene and sanitation and lifestyle diseases
