Please look forward, I will work for all the citizens of the country. Be it in technology or be it in registry…or be it in judicial reforms, I will take care of citizens in every aspect,” he said.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, commenting on PM Modi’s absence from the swearing-in ceremony of the new CJI, wrote on Twitter: “On the information I have, I conclude Modi’s absence from CJI Oath Taking Ceremony in the Rashtrapati Bhavan today obviously on hubris, is an affront to the Indian Constitution and Bharatiya Sanskar. Unless Modi comes up with an explanation or an apology his act be deplored.”

People on social media pointed out that PM Modi has never missed out on swearing-in ceremony of the CJI since Justice Thakur in 2015.

PM Modi has never missed swearing-in of a CJI and today he wasn't present for swearing in of chandrachud; nor has he congragulated the CJI
this means only two possibilities:
1.Both are extremely on same page of all major issues
2.Both are extremely divided on all major issues— The wandering hermit (@the_jagannatha) November 9, 2022
