Reports suggest that a Russian model who called Vladimir Putin a “psychopath” has been found dead and stuffed inside a suitcase. Gretta Vedler, 23, vanished a year ago following an anti-Putin social media post. But the model being dead and the Putin drama does not appear to have a connection.

“Vedler’s ex-boyfriend Dmitry Korovin, 23, has now confessed to strangling her to death before driving her 300 miles to the Lipetsk region and abandoning the body in the boot of a car..” the Daily Star reports.

Her ex-boyfriend admitted to intelligence officers that he stayed in a hotel room for three nights with her body, which he placed in a newly acquired bag. He then drove her body 300 kilometers to Lipetsk, where he kept it in the boot of a vehicle for more than a year. He confessed to detectives that he hacked the model’s social media accounts, and continued to post photos and messages to give the appearance that she was still alive.

Evgeniy Foster, a blogger in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s blitzed city, became suspicious and contacted a friend in Moscow. He then filed a missing person report, initiating a hunt that led to her death. In a video by Russia’s Investigative Committee, Korovin outlined about killing the model. Her precognitive posts regarding Putin in January 2021 were put a month before the demise. However, it is disconcerting in light of events but in no way is there any connection to her demise.

“I can only assume, in my opinion, clear psychopathy or sociopathy is seen in him. For psychopaths, it is important to constantly experience a sense of fullness and sharpness of life; so they love risk, intense experiences, intense communication, intense activity; an intense and dynamic life,” she wrote, according to The Mirror.
