Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Haqeeqi Azadi march, which was halted after an assassination attempt on the former prime minister Imran Khan, would now resume on Thursday, instead of Tuesday as scheduled earlier.
The Islamabad Police on Monday warned that action will be taken against those who protest in the capital without the permission of the administration, Geo News reported.
Pakistan Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that he will insist the coalition government and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to approve his proposal of giving arms to law enforcement agencies personnel who are being deployed to stop Imran Khan's long march.
