Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], April 15 (ANI): Following the killing of a sarpanch in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and assured strict punishment for the perpetrators.

Amid the attack the police have ordered a search operation, and are looking out for the terrorists, officials familiar with the matter said. Bandipora: Two Policemen were killed in the terrorist open fire at Bandipora on Friday. As per the Kashmir Police, the incident took place at the Gulshan chowk. At Gulshan Chowk, terrorists were seen open firing. Selection grade constable Mohammad Sultan and constable Fayaz Ahmad have injured in tan the attack  and rushed to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to injuries, police said.
