Sangrur (Punjab) [India], June 6 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday fielded former Congress leader Kewal Singh Dhillon as its candidate for Lok Sabha by-elections in Punjab's Sangrur.

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], June 4 (ANI): After joining Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Balbir Singh Sidhu said on Saturday that Congress doesn't recognize its workers, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah give credit to their workers.

Chandigarh : Punjab Congress leaders like PCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa may be downplaying the poaching threat being posed by Captain Amarinder Singh’s exit, but the party high command is taking the developments very seriously. Party leaders like Navjot Kaur Sidhu came forward and said that the loyal ones would stay and the ones who owe Amarinder a favour will leave the party.  Captain Amarinder Singh, however, claimed that many leaders are in touch with him and will join his party after it is formally launched.
