Bhopal Dec 25 PTI The Madhya Pradesh government has appointed Raghvendra Kumar Singh a 1997-batch IAS officer as the new principal secretary and commissioner of the state public relations Department an official said on Saturday As per a government order Singh who was the principal secretary and commissioner of Technical Education has also been made the managing director of Madhya Pradesh Madhyam a communication platform of the state government Sheo Shekhar Shukla who was holding the charge of principal secretary of the public relations department has been posted as the principal secretary of culture and tourism the official said Sudam Pandharinath Khade a 2006-batch IAS officer who was the commissioner of the public relations department will take charge as the commissioner of health services and controller of food and drug administration the order stated Apart from this Akash Tripathi a 1998-batch IAS officer who was the commissioner of health services and food and drug administration has been appointed as the secretary-cum-commissioner of the technical education department it was stated PTI ADU ARU ARU
Bhopal Dec 24 PTI Madhya Pradeshs General Administration Department GAD has declined to share details of applicants who had applied for the posts of Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners in the stateIn response to an RTI query filed by social activist Ajay Dubey it said the desired information cannot be shown to the applicant as files carrying the relevant details are in circulationDubey had sought details of applications received for the Information Commissioners posts in the state Information Commission He had also sought to see the relevant file notings in addition to getting their certified copiesThe GAD being the coordinating authority for the implementation of the RTI Act has wrongfully declined the desired information Public authorities are mandated to decline information citing relevant provisions of the transparency law In this case the GAD has refused to share the details without citing any clause of the RTI Act and merely said that the desired information is under process he saidDubey said that an appeal will be filed against the GADs inappropriate reply The state government had in November this year called for applications for Information Commissioners The last date for submitting application was November 30 PTI AKV RCJ
