No fresh COVID-19 case in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar Mar 23 PTI Arunachal Pradesh did not register any fresh COVID-19 case on Wednesday a senior health department official said The COVID-19 caseload in the northeastern state remained at 64484 he said The frontier state also did not report any new case on Tuesday As many as 64185 people have recuperated from the disease so far including three on Tuesday the official said The COVID-19 death toll in the frontier state remained at 296 as no fresh fatality was reported in the last 24 hours State Surveillance Officer SSO Dr Lobsang Jampa said The COVID-19 recovery rate in the state marginally improved to 9954 per cent from 9953 per cent the previous day the official said Arunachal Pradesh currently has only three active COVID-19 cases The Capital Complex Region comprising Itanagar Naharlagun Nirjuli and Banderdewa areas has two active cases while Lohit has one the SSO said A total of 1268246 samples have been tested for the infection in the state so far including 145 on Tuesday Jampa said adding that the positivity ratio remained at 059 per cent State Immunisation Officer SSO Dr Dimong Padung said over 1653 lakh people have been inoculated with Covid vaccines so far in the state PTI UPL RG RG

Itanagar Mar 20 PT Arunachal Pradesh reported a single COVID-19 case on Sunday pushing the tally to 64484 a senior health official said here As many as 64179 people have recuperated from the disease thus far in the state including three on Saturday the official said The COVID-19 death toll in the northeastern state remained at 296 as no fresh fatality was reported in the last 24 hours State Surveillance Officer SSO Dr Lobsang Jampa said The fresh coronavirus case was detected from Lohit district the official said The COVID-19 recovery rate remained at 9953 per cent he said Arunachal Pradesh currently has only nine active COVID-19 cases The Capital Complex Region comprising Itanagar Naharlagun Nirjuli and Banderdewa areas has the highest number of active cases at 5 followed by West Kameng Upper Siang Lohit and Anjaw districts with one each the SSO said A total of 1267885 samples have been tested for the infection in the state so far including 168 on Saturday Jampa said adding that the positivity ratio remained at 059 per cent State Immunisation Officer SSO Dr Dimong Padung said over 1651 lakh people have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccine so far in the state PTI UPL RG RG

One-day recoveries surpass fresh COVID-19 cases in Arunachal

Itanagar Jan 27 PTI Single-day recoveries outnumbered fresh COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh as 348 more people recuperated from the disease in the last 24 hours while 194 new infections were reported a health department official said on Thursday The fresh cases pushed the tally in the northeastern state to 60792 he said Altogether 57199 people have recovered from the disease so far State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa said The recovery rate among coronavirus patients is currently at 9409 per cent he said The death toll in the frontier state remained at 284 as no fresh fatality due to the infection was reported in the last 24 hours the SSO said Of the 194 new cases 114 were registered in the Capital Complex Region 18 in Papumpare district and 10 in Lower Subansiri the official said An army jawan two healthcare workers and 10 inmates of the Central Jail here were among the new patients Jampa said The northeastern state had on Wednesday registered 526 fresh infections Arunachal Pradesh currently has 3309 active cases The Capital Complex Region comprising Itanagar Naharlagun Nirjuli and Banderdewa areas has the highest number of active cases at 1408 followed by West Kameng at 220 Namsai at 195 Papumpare at 188 and Lower Subansiri at 171 Over 1231 lakh samples have been tested for the infection in the state including 704 on Wednesday he said adding that the positivity ratio stood at 2755 per cent State Immunisation Officer Dr Dimong Padung said 1568005 people have been inoculated with COVID vaccines so far At least 46017 beneficiaries in the age group of 15-18 years have been vaccinated with the first dose and 14141 senior citizens received the booster jab PTI UPL BDC BDC
