Itanagar Mar 22 PTI The number of active COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh dipped to six after three more persons recuperated from the disease a senior health department official said here on Tuesday The COVID-19 tally in the northeastern state remained at 64484 as no fresh case was registered while the total number of recoveries increased to 64182 he said The coronavirus death toll in the frontier state remained unchanged at 296 as no fresh fatality was reported in the past 24 hours State Surveillance Officer SSO Dr Lobsang Jampa said The COVID-19 recovery rate now is 9953 per cent the official said The Capital Complex Region comprising Itanagar Naharlagun Nirjuli and Banderdewa areas has three active COVID-19 cases followed by Upper Siang Lohit and Anjaw districts with one each the SSO said A total of 1268101 samples have been tested for the infection in the state so far including 134 on Monday Jampa said adding that the positivity ratio remained at 059 per cent State Immunisation Officer SSO Dr Dimong Padung said over 1652148 people have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccine so far in the state PTI UPL RG RG
Itanagar Dec 18 PTI Thirty COVID-19 patients are currently undergoing treatment at various hospital in Arunachal Pradesh a senior health official said on Saturday The coronavirus tally of the northeastern state remained unchanged at 55320 as no new case was reported The death toll also remained unchanged at 280 as no fresh fatality was registered State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa said As many as 55010 people have been cured of the disease so far including three on Friday he said adding that the recovery rate slightly improved to 9944 per cent from 9943 per cent on the previous day The Capital Complex region comprising Itanagar Naharlagun Nirjuli and Banderdewa areas has the highest number of active cases at 18 followed by Namsai four and West Kameng three The state has thus far tested over 1202 lakh samples for COVID-19 including 203 on Friday Jampa said adding that the positivity rate stood at 040 per cent State Immunisation Officer Dr Dimong Padung said that 1446 lakh people have been inoculated to date including 1232 on Friday PTI UPL ACD ACD
