The government is promoting alternative fuels which inter alia include Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), Green Hydrogen, Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG), Ethanol, etc for reduction in green house gas emissions.
New Delhi [India], January 31 (ANI): GAIL (India) Limited has commenced India's first-of-its-kind project of mixing hydrogen into natural gas system at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The hydrogen blended natural gas will be supplied to Avantika Gas Limited, one of GAIL's Joint Venture (JV) company with HPCL, operating in Indore, said a press release.
New Delhi [India], January 25 (ANI): Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Tuesday said it will invest Rs 22,000 crore on development of city gas distribution networks across 23 geographical areas across the country.
