Researchers find how Chromatin topology maps identify DNA association with retina cells

Maryland [US], October 7 (ANI): The arrangement of human retinal cell chromatin, the fibres that wrap 3 billion nucleotide-long DNA molecules into compact structures that fit into chromosomes within each cell's nucleus, was mapped by National Eye Institute researchers. The resultant complete gene regulatory network sheds light on gene expression regulation in general, as well as retinal function in both unusual and prevalent eye illnesses.
