Colombo [Sri Lanka], April 4 (ANI): Sri Lanka's two main opposition parties, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) have rejected President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's request to form an all-party interim government, said Sajith Premdasa, Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Sri Lankan Parliament on Monday adding that the President should resign.
Colombo [Sri Lanka], April 4 (ANI): Following the mass resignation of his Cabinet ministers, President Rajapaksa on Monday named at least four ministers, to maintain legitimacy and stability of Parliament and other functions of the country until a full Cabinet is appointed, even as he asked opposition members to join a unity government in the face of protests against an economic crisis.
