Pune (Maharashtra) [India], November 11 (ANI): Pune City's Lashkar Police Station on Wednesday has taken the judicial custody of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) independent witness in the Mumbai cruise raid case, Kiran Gosavi, who was arrested in connection with a cheating case registered against him.

Pune Oct 31 PTI The Pune police have registered a new case of cheating against Kiran Gosavi one of the NCB witnesses in the cruise ship drug bust case involving Aryan Khan after a person came forward with a complaint against him an official said on Sunday The fresh case was registered at the Wanawadi police station here in Maharashtra on Saturday night he said Gosavi was arrested by the Faraskhana police here in Maharashtra on Thursday in a 2018 case for allegedly cheating two persons by promising them jobs overseas and remanded police custody till November 5 Another case was registered with Lashkar police station on Friday after three persons filed a complaint alleging that he duped them of Rs 4 lakh by promising to provide them jobs in Malaysia in 2020 On Saturday night one more case was registered against Gosavi under IPC sections 420 cheating and 409 criminal breach of trust and relevant provisions of the Arms Act following a complaint by a 45-year-old man from Hadapsar area here Wanawadi police stations senior inspector Deepak Lagad said As per police officials the latest complainant accused Gosavi of cheating him of Rs 145 lakh under the pretext of providing him a job in Malaysia When the complainant did not get the job he approached Gosavi who then allegedly threatened him with a gun they said Gosavi was apparently present when the Narcotics Control Bureau NCB raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2 and arrested Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khans son Aryan Khan along with others upon alleged drug seizure His selfie and a video with Aryan Khan after the raid had gone viral Recently another witness in the drugs case Prabhakar Sail told media persons that he had overheard Gosavi telling one Sam DSouza over the phone after Aryan Khan was brought to the NCB office following the October 2 raid on the cruise ship about a demand of Rs 25 crore and to settle at Rs 18 crore as they have to give Rs eight crore to Sameer Wankhede PTI COR GK GK

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], October 27 (ANI): Chinmay Deshmukh, a complainant in the 2018 case registered against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) witness Kiran Gosavi, on Wednesday claimed that he is in contact with four more people like him who were cheated by Gosavi on the pretext of giving them a job overseas.

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], October 26 (ANI): Referring to NCB witness Kiran Gosavi's statement to media that he would soon surrender, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Faraskhana division of Pune Police, Satish Govekar on Monday said that they have no information about it and are still searching for him.
