Mumbai Feb 18 PTI The countrys foreign exchange reserves declined by USD 1763 billion to USD 63019 billion in the week ended on February 11 the RBI data showed In the previous week ended February 4 the reserves had risen by USD 2198 billion to USD 631953 billion It touched a lifetime high of USD 642453 billion in the week ended on September 3 2021 During the reporting week the fall in the reserves was on account of a decline in the foreign currency assets FCA a major component of the overall reserves FCA dipped by USD 2764 billion to USD 565565 billion in the week ended February 11 Expressed in dollar terms the foreign currency assets include the effect of appreciation or depreciation of non-US units like the euro pound and yen held in the foreign exchange reserves Gold reserves increased by USD 952 million to USD 40235 billion in the reporting week the data showed The special drawing rights SDRs with the International Monetary Fund IMF increased by USD 65 million to USD 19173 billion RBI said The countrys reserve position with the IMF decreased by USD16 million to USD 5217 billion in the reporting week the data showed PTI HV MR

Mumbai Jan 28 PTI The countrys foreign exchange reserves declined by USD 678 million to USD 634287 billion in the week ended January 21 according to RBI data In the previous week ended January 14 the reserves had increased by USD 2229 billion to USD 634965 billion It touched a lifetime high of USD 642453 billion in the week ended September 3 2021 During the reporting week ended January 21 the dip in the reserves was on account of a drop in the Foreign Currency Assets FCA a major component of the overall reserves as per the Reserve Bank of Indias RBI weekly data released on Friday FCA declined by USD 1155 billion to USD 569582 billion in the reporting week Expressed in dollar terms FCA include the effect of appreciation or depreciation of non-US units like the euro pound and yen held in the foreign exchange reserves Gold reserves increased by USD 567 million to USD 40337 billion in the reporting week the data showed The Special Drawing Rights SDRs with the International Monetary Fund IMF declined by USD 68 million to USD 19152 billion The countrys reserve position with the IMF also dipped by USD 22 million to USD 5216 billion in the reporting week the data showed PTI HV RAM
