Earlier on November 13, the Election Commission of India prohibited the conduct of any exit poll and publishing the result of exit polls from November 12 to December 5, 2022.
New Delhi [India], February 10 (ANI): The Election Commission on Thursday revised the polling dates for assembly elections in Manipur. The first phase of the polls will now be held on February 28 instead of February 27 and the second phase on March 5 instead of March 3 earlier.
Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], October 19 (ANI): Emphasising the need for free and fair polling in the upcoming by-elections, BJP MP Arjun Singh on Tuesday urged Chief Election Officer of the state to allot more security personnel for bypolls in four constituencies, which is scheduled to be held on October 30.
