Nagpur Mar 23 PTI A 55-year-old woman died after being attacked by a wild boar in Maharashtras Nagpur district police said on WednesdayThe deceased was identified by the police as Durga Natthu Iwnate a resident of Kharpada village According to the police the woman was grazing her goats on a farm on Monday afternoon when she was attacked by the wild animal at Deolapar under Ramtek tehsil around 70 km from district headquarters leaving her seriously injuredIwnate was rushed to the primary health care centre at Deolapar and later shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital at Nagpur where she succumbed to her injuries in the evening they added PTI COR RSY RSY

Nagpur Mar 20 PTI A 42-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a mentally unwell 8-year-old girl in Imambada area of Nagpur on Sunday police said An official said Suraj Lokhande who runs a juice stall in the locality abducted the girl in the afternoon and raped her in his home She narrated her ordeal to her elder sister after which a complaint was filed the Imambada police station official added The man was arrested under IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences POCSO Act provisions The girl is undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital here he said PTI COR BNM BNM BNM
