Shillong Jan 30 PTI Meghalaya on Sunday reported 362 new COVID-19 cases 42 more than the previous day with the tally mounting to 90884 a health official said The death toll rose to 1522 as four more patients succumbed to the disease Health Services Director Dr Aman War said East Khasi Hills district recorded the highest number of fresh cases at 149 followed by West Garo Hills at 133 At least 424 people recuperated from the infection during the day taking the total number of recoveries to 87009 War said Meghalaya now has 2353 active cases he said The state has so far conducted over 1312 lakh sample tests for COVID-19 the official said Over 2268 lakh people have been inoculated till Saturday with 927180 of them having received both doses of vaccines he added PTI JOP SBN BDC BDC

Shillong Jan 25 PTI Meghalaya on Tuesday recorded 397 new COVID-19 cases 92 more than the previous day with the tally mounting to 89161 a health official said The death toll rose to 1499 as one more person succumbed to the disease he said Of the new cases 211 were reported from East Khasi Hills 104 from West Garo Hills and 20 from Ri Bhoi The remaining fresh infections were detected from nine other districts Health Services Director Dr Aman War said 293 people were cured of the disease during the day taking the total number of recoveries to 85302 said that with todays new infections Meghalaya now has 2360 active cases The northeastern state has conducted over 1305 lakh sample tests for COVID-19 so far he said More than 2266 lakh people have been inoculated with 929454 of them having received both doses of vaccines War added PTI JOP BDC BDC

Shillong Nov 19 PTI Meghalaya on Friday recorded 38 new COVID-19 cases pushing the active coronavirus tally to 286 health officials said Health Services director Dr Aman War said that the death toll remained at 1467 while the total caseload has increased to 84188 the official said Out of the new cases 26 cases were detected in East Khasi Hills district six in East Garo Hills three in West Khasi Hills two in West Garo Hills and one in Ri Bhoi district respectively No COVID-19 fatalities were registered on Friday Twenty-three people have recovered from the infection during the day taking the total number of recovered persons to 82435 The state has also conducted over 1184 lakh tests to date A total of 1894 lakh people have been inoculated in the state with over 755646 having received both doses of the vaccines till Thursday War said PTI JOP MM MM
