Kohima Sep 23 PTI Nagalands COVID-19 tally crossed the 31000-mark on Thursday as 37 more people tested positive for the infection while two fresh fatalities increased the states coronavirus death toll to 660 a health bulletin said Dimapur district registered the highest number of new cases at 18 followed by Kohima 10 Mokokchung three Tuensang two and Kiphire Longleng Phek and Wokha one each it said adding that the fresh fatalities were recorded in Dimapur The state now has 467 active cases while 28935 people have been cured of the disease so far including 22 in the last 24 hours and 965 patients have migrated to other states thus far the bulletin said adding that the recovery rate stood at 9325 per cent The COVID-19 caseload in the northeastern state is 31027 to date the bulletin said Nagaland has thus far tested over 36 lakh samples for COVID-19 and inoculated over 681 lakh people of whom 322 lakh have been fully vaccinated PTI NBS MM MM

Kohima Sep 19 PTI Nagaland reported more COVID-19 recoveries than fresh infections on Sunday as 28 patients got cured while 24 new cases pushed the tally to 30864 a health official said As many as 28780 people have recuperated from the infection so far and the COVID-19 recovery rate in the state is 9324 per cent the official said Dimapur district registered the highest number of new cases at 13 followed by Kohima 9 and Longleng 2 At present Nagaland has 484 active COVID-19 cases seven less than the number of active cases on Saturday The coronavirus death toll remained at 653 as the state has not reported any new fatality due to the disease in the last 24 hours Altogether 947 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other states the official said Thus far 357437 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in Nagaland A total of 970648 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 676984 persons in the state as of Saturday said State Immunisation Officer Dr Ritu Thurr PTI NBS MM MM
