Mumbai Nov 26 PTI Mumbai on Friday reported 230 new coronavirus infections and three fatalities a civic official said It took the tally of coronavirus cases in the countrys financial capital to 762185 and death toll to 16322 The city had reported 179 cases and four deaths the day before As many as 34690 COVID-19 tests were conducted taking the total of samples tested so far to 12300578As many as 248 recovered patients were discharged from the hospitals during the day There are 2343 active COVID-19 cases in Mumbai now Mumbais average recovery rate is 97 per cent The average period needed for the caseload to double is now 2682 days while average growth rate of cases was 003 per cent for the period between November 19 to 25 PTI KK KRK KRK

Mumbai Nov 18 PTI Mumbai on Thursday reported 230 new cases of coronavirus infection and one fatality a civic official said With this the citys tally of COVID-19 cases climbed to 760500 and death toll to 16300 The countrys financial capital witnessed a marginal dip in the number of daily cases and fatalities as compared to Wednesday when it had reported 275 infections and two deaths This is for the third time in the last 10 days that Mumbai has recorded one COVID-19 death in a day On November 9 and 16 it had witnessed one death each At present there 2845 active coronavirus cases in Mumbai after 204 patients were discharged from hospitals following their recovery With this the citys cumulative recovery count rose to 738803 As 38824 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours the citys overall test figure reached 12037912 he said Currently there are 15 sealed buildings in Mumbai although it is free of containment zones since mid-August Mumbais average recovery rate is 97 per cent while its case doubling rate is 2187 days The average growth rate of cases is 003 per cent for the period between November 11 and 17 the official said This year Mumbai had reported the highest number of daily cases at 11163 on April 4 while the highest number of single-day fatality of 90 was recorded on May 1 PTI KK NP NP
