Law enforcement agencies in Pakistan are tightening the noose on blasphemers on social media and arresting people allegedly involved in this activity, The Nation, a daily newspaper based in Lahore, Pakistan, reported.
The newspaper further reported that the policeman, on Tuesday, said that unidentified miscreants abducted three friends, hailing from the Bannu district from a jeweller's shop in late night hours and later shot them dead.
The residents believe the police stations were vacated out of fear of the Taliban, who oppose the merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, The Nation reported.
