Measures are being taken to restore the digital services and support is being sought from Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) and National Informatics Centre (NIC), saidAll India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) on Wednesday.
The advisory comes after it received information about a fake SMS with a job offer, misusing the name of NIC, being circulated amongst the general public.

New Delhi Sep 26 PTI As courts resume physical hearing after easing of coronavirus induced lockdown in the country the National Information Centre has introduced a Covid management patch to allow judicial officers to retain only urgent cases to prevent overcrowding of courtrooms and impede the spread of the virus The COVID-19 Management Patch has been developed in the case information system CIS to help in smart scheduling of cases according to information put in public domain by the Department of Justice in the Law Ministry According to one such document the patch enables the courts to proceed in a systematic and planned manner to reduce the risks associated with the presence of a large number of people in court premises This will help contain the spread of coronavirus in district and subordinate courts A team of NIC at Pune under the guidance of eCommittee of Supreme Court had developed the patch last year It is a set of protocols setting out the measures that can be adopted by the district judiciary to facilitate smart scheduling of cases allotting time slots for hearings and avoiding overlapping hearings involving the same advocate in different courts It seeks to protect the safety of all stakeholders including litigants lawyers court staff and judges the document said The patch allows judicial officers to retain urgent cases and adjourn the not-urgent cases on cause list to prevent overcrowding of court rooms Between March 24 2020 when the nationwide lockdown was imposed and September 31 last year the nearly 19000 district courts heard 1933492 cases virtually according to the Department of Justice Now cases are being heard physically in lower courts across India PTI NAB AAR AAR
New Delhi Sep 24 PTI The Supreme Court has put to rest the alleged controversy over the Sabka Sath Saath Sabka Vikas slogan along with the prime ministers picture being carried as a footer on apex courts official e-mails by asking the NIC to remove and replace them with the image of the top court Sources in the apex court told PTI that the slogan and the picture were put inadvertently by National Informatics Centre NIC which provides the e-mail services to the top court A controversy out of an inadvertent error has been sought to be created by some they said Late last evening it was brought to the notice of the Registry of the Supreme Court of India that the official e-mails of the Supreme Court of India were carrying an image as footer which has no connection whatsoever with the functioning of the Judiciary said a clarificatory note issued by an official The NIC which was directed to drop that image from the footer of the e-mails originating from the Supreme Court has replaced them with the picture of the top court they said An official also shared the screenshot of the e-mail from scinicin carrying the image of the court instead of the slogan and the picture of the prime ministerPTI SJK SJK RKS RKS RKS
