Jaipur Mar 30 PTI Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday approved a 3 per cent increase the dearness allowance of state employees and pensioners on the lines of central government employees According to a government spokesperson now 34 per cent dearness allowance will be payable to state employees and pensioners from January 1 2022 Earlier 31 per cent dearness allowance was being given to state employees and pensioners Gehlots decision will benefit 440 lakh pensioners along with about 8 lakh officers-employees receiving salary as per rules of Rajasthan Civil Services Revised Salary Rules-2017 Apart from the state employees this benefit will also be payable to the employees of Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad The state government will bear the financial burden of about Rs 1435 crore annually on this increase PTI AG MR

Jaipur Oct 22 PTI The second phase of polling for Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members in Alwar and Dholpur districts of Rajasthan will be held on Saturday officials said The polling will take place from 8 am to 5 pm State Election Commissioner P S Mehra on Friday said 973 lakh voters would be able to exercise their franchise in both the districts in the second phase of polls A total of 1312 polling stations have been set up for voting in the second phase he said The elections for Alwar and Dholpur Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members are being conducted in three phases The first phase of polling was held on October 20 and the third phase will be conducted on October 26 Counting of votes will be done at the district headquarters on October 29 after all three phases of polling PTI SDA HDA
Jaipur Oct 21 PTI Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given approval to a three per cent hike in dearness allowance DA for state employees and pensioners on the occasion of Diwali The state employees and pensioners will now get 31 per cent dearness allowance with effect from July 1 2021 as against 28 per cent earlier About eight lakh officers-employees who are getting salary on the basis of the Rajasthan Civil Services Revised Salary Rules 2017 as well as 410 lakh pensioners will get the benefit of the decision The state government will bear the financial burden of about Rs 1230 crore annually on this increase Similarly Gehlot has also approved an ad-hoc bonus on Diwali to about six lakh employees of the state This benefit will be available to state employees drawing salary in the pay matrix level-12 or Grade Pay-4800 and below except state service officers gazetted according to a statement This bonus will also be payable to the employees of Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad employees Each employee will get a maximum ad-hoc bonus of Rs 6774 PTI SDA HRS hrs
