Delhi Police has issued a notice to Flipkart in connection with the acid attack on a 17-year-old girl in Dwarka after the accused had reportedly bought the acid through the e-commerce platform.
National Commission for Protection Of Child Rights has issued notices to the police and the district magistrate of the city regarding the Delhi acid attack that took place today asking how the accused could procure acid when its retail sale is banned.
Delhi Police have arrested all three accused for allegedly throwing acid at a 17-year-old girl in the national capital's Dwarka this morning, the police said.
Delhi Commission for Women on Wednesday issued notice to Delhi Police to arrest the attackers and to give strict punishment to them in case of an acid attack on a school student in Delhi.
"The victim Sonu said that in 2015 he had a court marriage with a woman named Aarti. After marriage, Aarti demanded to get the land in her name along with the money. On expressing his inability, the woman left the house after 8 days and disappeared somewhere. After this, he searched for but she was nowhere to be found," said Police Station Officer Mehandipur Balaji Ajit Singh Badsera.
