A destructive spell from pacer Obed McCoy (6/17) and a superb half-century from Brandon King (68) powered an all-round West Indies to a five-wicket win over India in the second T20I of five-match series on Monday.
Tight bowling by India, led by Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravi Bishnoi's two-wicket haul respectively helped the Men in Blue defeat West Indies by 68 runs in the first T20I.
India has completed a clean sweep of 3-0 over the hosts. Following this, both the teams will be squaring off for the five-match T20I series, starting from Friday.
West Indies batting attack pushed India to its limits and had fans at the edge of their seats till the very last ball, but lost the game by three runs.
"I believe in the guys and believe in the talent that we have here and willingness of the guys to learn. Everyone wants to get better; everyone is asking questions. Everyone is asking how to get better and that's something I admire from the guys so far coming from the Bangladesh series," ESPNcricinfo quoted Nicholas Pooran as saying.
Rovman Powell helped West Indies put together a big score at home and Bangladesh fell short by 35 runs, as the hosts claimed the series lead in the second T20I.
