Puducherry April 26 PTI Three fresh cases of coronavirus were confirmed by the Puducherry government at the end of examination of 264 samples on Tuesday pushing up the overall active cases to sevenWhile Puducherry logged two new cases the remaining one was traced in Karaikal regionThe cumulative case load rose to 165784 while the recoveries stood at 163815 The toll remained 1962 as no fresh fatalities were reported in the last 24 hoursDirector of Health G Sriramulu said in a release that the test positivity rate was 114 percent while the fatality and recovery rates were 118 percent and 9881 percent respectivelyThe Department of Health has examined so far 2233353 samples and has found 1878214 to be negativeThe health department has administered so far 1677021 doses which comprised 963061 first doses 694489 second and 19471 booster doses PTI COR ROH ROH
