Jaipur Jan 30 PTI Four persons including three children were killed on Sunday after a fire broke out in a small painting material packaging unit in the Jamwaramgarh area of the district officials saidThe fire broke out in a hall constructed on a farmland A man and three children including his daughter were burnt alive in the incident Jamwaramgarh Circle Officer Shiv Kumar saidThe deceased were identified as Ramesh 25 his daughter Jaya 3 and two other children -- Garima 3 and Kalu 4 -- Kumar said adding that three persons including a minor were also injured in the incident and they are being treated at the SMS hospital here he addedOfficials said the place where the fire broke out was being used to pack thinner for painting works PTI SDA RC

Jaipur Dec 23 PTI Four men have been arrested in connection with a gruesome attack on an RTI activist in Rajasthans Barmer district police said on ThursdayA police constable was suspended and a station house officer SHO sent to the Police Lines in the wake of the incidentAmra Ram 30 an RTI activist was allegedly abducted beaten up and his legs were pierced with nails by some people on TuesdayHe is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jodhpur and is stated to be out of dangerBarmer Superintendent of Police SP Deepak Bhargava said four men -- Bhupendra Khartaram Aadesh and Ramesh -- have been arrested in connection with the incident and efforts are on to trace the other accusedA preliminary probe has confirmed the involvement of the four arrested men in the incident the SP said adding that they are being interrogatedA sports utility vehicle SUV used to abduct Ram has also been seized he saidBhargava said the SHO of the Gida police station has been sent to the Police Lines till the probe in the case is concluded while a constable under whose beat an illegal liquor trade was going on has been suspendedPolice said the activist had complained about the illegal liquor trade following which action was taken and liquor was seizedTaking cognisance of the incident the Rajasthan Human Rights Commission issued notices to the state director general of police DGP and other officials on Wednesday seeking a report on the incident and the action taken subsequently PTI SDA RC
