Pune Nov 26 PTI Social activist Anna Hazare was on Friday discharged from a private hospital in Pune where he was admitted after he complained of chest pain the hospital authorities said The 84-year-old anti-corruption crusader was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic on Thursday for chest pain following which an angiography and other tests were conducted they said Hazare was discharged from the hospital today as he is fine now During the angiogram a minor blockage was detected There was no need for angioplasty or any surgery Following treatment at the hospital he was allowed to be discharged said Dr Parvez Grant chief cardiologist and managing trustee Ruby Hall Clinic According to Hazares office the social activist has been advised to take complete rest PTI SPK ARU ARU
Pune Oct 27 PTI One person was injured and two women were allegedly robbed of valuables on board an outstation train in Maharashtras Pune railway police said on Wednesday The incident took place on Bhubaneswar-bound Konark Express near Daund railway station on Tuesday night an official said The unidentified accused tampered with the signal on the track by snapping its cables in order to make the train stop he said The accused then snatched gold chains of two women passengers he said When the brother of one of the women alighted the train and tried to give a chase the accused pelted stones at him and injured him before fleeing the official said A case has been registered and a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused he added PTI SPK ARU ARU
