Islamabad [Pakistan], July 25 (ANI): Several foreign pharmaceutical multinational corporations (MNCs) are planning to move out of Pakistan after the government imposed heavy taxes on active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and other raw materials which has led to a spike in production costs.
Islamabad [Pakistan], June 25 (ANI): The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) on Friday called upon the Pakistan government to abolish the taxes on raw materials concerning the industry citing a shortage of 40 types of medicines and fearing 100 more if their demand is not accepted.
