Jaipur Feb 23 PTI Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday proposed to conduct the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers REET exam in July 2022 The state government had recently cancelled the examination due to controversies related to the paper leak case He said that an anti-cheating cell will be set up in the Special Operations Group SOG of Rajasthan police He said that no application fee will be charged from the old candidates for this examination to be held afresh and all the facilities given to the candidates at the time of REET examination will also be made available again Along with this the number of posts in the upcoming REET examination has been increased from 32000 to 62000 in view of more employment opportunities for the youth During the present governments tenure so far more than 1 lakh youth have been appointed and recruitment is under process for about 125 lakh posts For women Gehlot announced two ambitious schemes Under the CM Digital Service Scheme announced by the chief minister 133 crore women will get internet enabled smartphones for 3 yearsState government will spend Rs 2500 crore every year for the scheme For such women who can contribute to the livelihood of their family while working from home the Chief Minister announced the CM Work From Home- Job Work Scheme Under this 20000 women are proposed to get benefits at the cost of Rs 100 crore PTI AG MR

Rajasthan board REET declared as essential services from Sep 20-30

Jaipur Sep 20 PTI The Rajasthan government has declared services of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers REET as essential services from September 20 to 30 for conducting the exam successfully The Home Department issued an order to this effect on Monday after an approval from the chief minister according to an official statement The REET will be held on September 26 for over 31000 posts of teacher in the state Lakhs of candidates are expected to appear for this examination It is noteworthy that for the successful conduct of the REET notifications have been issued regarding declaration of essential services in the year 2016 and 2018 The REET will be conducted after almost three years in Rajasthan The examination will be conducted at 4153 examination centres set up at 200 places in the state In Jaipur district alone more than 25 lakh candidates will take the examination at 592 centres Meanwhile various departments have started preparations in view of this examination A high-level meeting was held recently under the chairmanship of Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasra in which various aspects of conducting the examination were discussed Chief Secretary Niranjan Arya also took a review meeting on September 15 and the officers related to administration and law and order said that high priority should be given to the successful conduct of REET examination He said a large number of candidates would participate in this examination so successful conduct of the examination is a challenging task He directed the departments concerned to work in proper coordination so that law and order and peace are maintained PTI AG CK
